Terms of Service
Effective date: March 12, 2026
Welcome to KanaHost. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of our managed OpenClaw hosting services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Service description
KanaHost provides managed hosting for OpenClaw, an open-source AI assistant. Our service handles server provisioning, configuration, security, uptime, and maintenance. You retain ownership of all data, files, and AI memories created through your dedicated instance.
Account terms
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
Billing and payments
We utilize Stripe to process payments. Billing occurs on a monthly or annual cycle. Credits for AI tasks are included in your subscription and reset on your billing date. You can purchase additional credit packs or provide your own API keys to extend functionality.
Acceptable use policy
The Service is intended for professional and personal productivity. You may not:
- Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, or prohibited content.
- Attempt to compromise the security of other customers' infrastructure.
- Use the Service to transmit automated spam or malicious software.
- Interfere with the performance of our managed infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Data ownership
You own all data, knowledge graphs, and configurations generated through your instance. KanaHost does not claim ownership of your inputs, your AI's learned preferences, or any work products generated through your Service.
Service level
For Enterprise plans, we target a 99.9% uptime for your dedicated server infrastructure, excluding scheduled maintenance.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ContextX Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination and cancellation
- Termination: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Cancellation: Upon cancellation, your dedicated server will be decommissioned. Your data will be wiped from our systems, and no further charges will be applied. We do not assess early termination penalties.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
